Week Three
This week's assignment included creating continuous tubes in animation shop.
On the left above is the starbright tube I created and on the right I played with the gradient
sun shape per lesson instructions. Used 3 separate star shapes as follows:
1st star: multi-aqua gradient, inside fill is landscape sunset, 2nd star multi-red gradient,
inside fill is metallic gold, 3rd star indigo purple, inside fill is multi-yellow, saved as PSP 7
compatible and placed into Animation shop, applied rotation, exported as tube. I placed the tube
into the special folder I use for my miscellaneous tubes, however, this would not let me change
the tube options and the tube showed all 21 stars in a line. So I saved it in the My PSP8 Files
Tubes folder and it worked fine. Ok, on to more fun with these.
Above I used the starbright tube and wrote Anita.
On the graphic above I used the Gradient Sunset tube and wrote PSP.
See the little smilies inside the P? I could not resist.
On to assignment 2 - Using effects on tubes:
These were a lot of fun to do. Followed instructions for creating the tubes from
Jeweler's Kit Font, bevelled and added gems and different texture effects.
I used the Jeweler's kit font D, gold fill pattern background, applied inner bevel default,
used option 1, changed depth to 3. On middle frame I applied Graphics Plus filter - Peacock,
inner bevel option 1 depth at 7. On third frame I used VM Filter Pearl's Girl, inner bevel depth 3.
Here is a sample of what can be done with the frame tubes. This lesson was great.
I am looking forward to next week. Thank you.
